Hazrat Khalid Bin Waleed(RA)
The name of Hazrat Khalid bin Waleed (RA) is "Khalid" and his surname is "Saifullah".
Your father's name was Waleed and your mother's name was Lababa, your mother was a relative of Hazrat Maimunah. Hazrat Khalid bin Waleed was related to Badr bin Makhzoom. Your family held the rank of Army sergeant. Your family was respected even in the Jahiliyyah era.
Hazrat Khalid Bin Waleed [Radiyallahu Anhu] narrates that a sudden thought came to my coronary heart that ever I used to be in a struggle against the Messenger of Allah, peace and benefits of Allah be upon him, an unusual feeling arose in my coronary heart.
My heart used to reproach me, that your efforts are in vain. The affection for Islam progressively grew inside the heart of Hazrat Khalid Bin Waleed. It turned into extended when the Messenger of Allah (peace and advantages of Allah be upon him) said these words about Khalid bin Waleed: "It is surprising that a wise man like Khalid is still ignorant of Islam".
Consequently, Hazrat Khalid bin Waleed, Hazrat Usman bin Talha and Amru bin Al-Aas[ might also Allah be thrilled with him] attended the service of the Prophet (peace and advantages of Allah be upon him) in Madinah and usual Islam. On this occasion, the Prophet (peace and benefits of Allah be upon him) stated to the companions "Makkah handed over his liver to us"
In 8 Hijri, a battle was fought between Muslims and Christians. It was turned into the primary struggle of Hazrat Khalid bin Waleed after accepting Islam.
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prepared an army of three thousand Nisars and entrusted its leadership to Hazrat Zayd bin Haritha (RA). If Ziyad bin Harithah (RA) is martyred, then Hazrat Jafar bin Abi Talib (RA) will be the leader of the army, and if he is also martyred, then Hazrat Abdullah bin Rawaha (RA) will be the leader of the army. And if they are also martyred, the Muslims can make whoever they want to be their ambassadors. Caesar Rome had prepared an army of 100,000 to fight the Muslims. After the martyrdom of these generals, Hazrat Khalid bin Waleed (RA) became the general of the Muslim army.
He fought the enemy with great bravery, during which eight swords were broken in his hand. Hazrat Khalid bin Waleed showed great skill and took the Muslims out of the enemy's hold and brought them to Medina. Because of his bravery in this battle, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave Hazrat Khaled bin Waleed the title of "Saifullah".
