(Ismail (peace be upon him) said) Father, do the work (immediately) that you are being ordered to do. If Allah wills, you will find me among those who persevere.

Then when both of them bowed before God's will, Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) laid him on his forehead. And we called out to them, O Ibrahim, you have indeed made your dream come true. Verily, We give similar rewards to the benefactors. Indeed, it was an open trial, and We redeemed it with a great sacrifice.

The two chosen prophets of God acknowledged the greatness of labour and hard work by working with their hands and taught that those in high positions should not avoid labour. On this occasion, Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) prayed to his Lord.
O our Lord, accept this effort of ours. You hear our prayers and know our intentions. O Lord, make us both obedient to You and create a group from our generation that obeys You and teaches us the ways of worship. Tell us and look upon us with mercy. You are the Most Forgiving and the Most Merciful. Lord, send among these people a prophet from their own community (nation) who will recite Your verses to them and teach them the Book and wisdom. And make their lives beautiful. Indeed, You are the Mighty and the Wise."
The main idea of this prayer is to beautify the lives of creatures. Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) once said, "I am the supplication of my father Ibrahim (A.S)."
